About Founder

Antony has extensive experience in healthcare leadership and has managed several institutions in the field of Invitro Diagnostics, Clinical Laboratory Practice, Proficiency Testing, Training and Capacity Development and Improvement, Quality Management and Conformity Assessment before venturing into health entrepreneurship. As a subject matter Expert, he sits in Technical Committee 175 at Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS), Scientific Advisory Board for European Society for External Quality Assessment, Technical Assessors Panel for ISO 17043 and 15189 at Kenya Accreditation Service (KENAS), Technical Auditor Panel ISO 9001:2015 at SGS, Chief Editor Lab Africa Magazine and Kenyan Ministry of Health National Response Task Force for Covid-19 among other technical working groups as a resource person. He is also a Board Director at Kenya Healthcare Federation in charge of health regulations, quality and standards, a member of Africa Society for Laboratory Medicine, East Central and Southern Africa College of Medical Laboratory Science, Association of Kenya Medical Laboratory Scientific Officers. A judge for Quality Healthcare Kenyan Awards for the year 2021 and 2022.

Creating the laboratory of the future with Africa in mind drove Antony; to constantly think about curating the passion for quality laboratory services into provision of end-to-end laboratory solutions where every client would convert questions marks into solutions whenever they knocked our door. This has come to pass with our one stop shop principle in provision of laboratory services and products from training, mentorship, EQA, third party controls, method verification controls, molecular and clinical laboratory equipment plus consumables to software development for RCA and LIMS, laboratory infrastructure design and laboratory hardware. Keton was founded out of sheer need to translate science, technology and quality into outcome that would leave our clients smiling and with a view that, actually quality services and products can be found anywhere in the world. This is in tandem with a story of dedication to advancement of quality diagnosis in our laboratories, of simple strategic small steps, of seeing quality from the eye of the customer, of continuous learning from our environment, of creating changes in our generation that matter; because today’s scientist may be a patient tomorrow.
